The Parish Pastoral Council has initiated a project to focus on rebuilding our parish once the COVID 19 pandemic is over.
The aim is to move the parish from simply maintaining itself to becoming a missionary community of disciples of Jesus Christ.
Before ascending into Heaven, Jesus gave us the Great Commission “Go make disciples of all nations” and today Pope Francis calls on us to become “Missionary disciples”.
The intent is to become recognised as a parish of welcome, love and respect that reaches out to the whole community and helps it to develop and grow into a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
As the project progresses, parishioners will be kept informed on an ongoing basis of all initiatives and developments in the way the parish operates.
Moving to a missionary community will take time and all parishioners are asked to pray that the Holy Spirit will guide the project along the way.
